    The Beijing Initiative was initiated by YURUC and was co-sponsored by the following institutions:Center for Civil Society Studies, Peking University; China Philanthropy Research Institute, Beijing Normal University; China Global Philanthropy Institute; Shenzhen Development Center for China Charity Fair; China Alliance of Social Value Investment; China Association of Microfinance; Youchange China Social Entrepreneur Foundation; Yifang Foundation; Beijing Pro Bono Foundation; Non-Profit Incubator (NPI); Youthink Center; Social Entrepreneurs Star; Shenzhen Social Innovation Center; Beijing Shanxingzhida Information Services LLC.; and leading Chinese social enterprises such as CFPA Microfinance; First Respond; and Lingxi.

 

    The launch of the Beijing Initiative is a landmark event in China’s social enterprise field. The Initiative is intended to develop a professional working network, based on the division of expertise, through building consensus, settling actions and  establishing mechanism. The purpose is toenable the comprehensive, sustainable and substantive progress of China’s social enterprise field.
